Job Title: Architect or Job Captain Project Types: Education - K-12 Responsibilities Manage planning and coordination of assigned projects through all phases of designDevelop and mange construction documentation Assist in design and investigation of material selection and systemsPlan, assign, direct, coordinate and manage work flow and ensure quality control review of workCoordinate consultants, program requirements, code compliance, drawings and specificationsWork on multiple projects concurrently Administer and manage less complex projects with minimal guidanceReview shop drawings and material samplesPrepare change drawings and coordinate with the Construction Administrator when working on projects in the construction phase Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required, accredited Architectural Degree preferred5+ years of experience working in a professional design firmDemonstrated proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe SuiteStrong rendering skills is a plusGeneral experience in all phases of architecture and substantial experience in the development of construction documentsThorough knowledge of architectural drafting and modeling, detailing, building materials, building codes and constructionStrong architecture design, space planning, construction documentation and presentation skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
