Essential Duties
- Aid the Facilities Manager in servicing and maintaining the facility, bowling equipment, and amusement arcade games.
- Respond to customer complaints of machine malfunctions; analyze the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
- Respond to error calls for any bowling and amusement arcade equipment issues.
- Follow equipment operational compliance with appropriate laws and policies including OSHA safety practices and procedures.
- Update the R1/manufacturer’s preventative maintenance charts for the bowling center equipment as posted.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on bowling lanes, pinsetters, oiling machines and other bowling related equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks of the Facility.
- Able to readily identify the most common problems with equipment such as controls and audio systems.
Non-Essential Duties
- Follows up to complete any assigned work.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to upper management for a solution.
- Maintains good communication with all employees and outside contacts.
- Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Qualifications
- The Technician must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills to include high integrity and respect for everyone.
- The Technician must demonstrate solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).
Education And/or Experience
- Two-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
