About the role
The Technician oversees, maintains, and repairs arcade machines and bowling machines in an amusement arcade setting. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction; analyzes the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
- Aid the Facility Manager with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and circuitry issues in the arcade games and/or bowling machines.
- Able to readily identify the most common problems with components like controls and audio systems.
- Performs maintenance and repair tasks.
- Keeps a clean and organized workshop.
- Works varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
Requirements
- Two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
- Strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and an appreciation for diversity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
