About the role
A large-scale arable enterprise in Norfolk is seeking an experienced Arable Farm Manager to oversee crop production across a substantial acreage.
Responsibilities
- Lead all cropping operations from planning through to harvest
- Manage and motivate a team of operators and seasonal staff
- Maintain machinery to a high standard and coordinate servicing
- Work closely with agronomists to optimise yields
- Monitor budgets, input costs and farm performance
- Be hands-on during peak periods while managing strategically
- Continuously improve efficiency and sustainability
Requirements
- Proven experience in arable farming (ideally 5+ years in a senior role)
- Strong knowledge of crop production (cereals, OSR, root crops)
- Experience operating and managing modern agricultural machinery
- PA1/PA2/PA4 spraying certificates (preferred)
- Experience with GPS/precision farming systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of farm compliance and record keeping
Pay
£48,000 to £65,000 per year

Up to 50 hours per week
