About the role

Mercor is hiring music experts for a frontier generative-music AI lab, working in Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe melodies by ear with accurate pitch and rhythm
• Recognize key, tempo, and time signature
• Handle sung lyrics with strong fluency, including accents and less-clear delivery

Requirements

• Formal musical training or professional experience (degree in music or years working as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher)
• Strong ear for music
• Fluency in Arabic for handling sung lyrics

Qualifications

• Experience with generative music AI
• Knowledge of Arabic language and culture

Skills
