AR Specialist

About the role

The AR Specialist will manage revenue cycle processes end-to-end, identify and resolve issues impacting revenue, collaborate across clinical and financial areas, analyze metrics and reports to enhance performance, ensure adherence to revenue cycle best practices, and assist in other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (College degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of Hospital and/or Physician AR Billing Experience
• Experience with claims follow-up and denial management
• Experience with Veterans Administration payers preferred

Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Proficiency with Epic
• Proficiency with various billing systems: Waystar, SSI, Quadax, Availity, etc.

Pay

Hourly wage based on experience
