AR Specialist

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in our OneDiagnostic computer system (Navision) while responding to customers and field sales teams.
• Provide excellent customer service with face-to-face, verbal, and written communication while working in a collaborative and team environment.
• Accurately process all customer payments (i.e., checks, credit cards, electronic payments, etc.) in Navision.
• Accurately credit and rebill customers for over-payments, missing PO#’s, and other reasons as necessary.
• Respond to customer (both internal and external) inquiries via phone and email.
• Review and, if appropriate, process debit and credit memos.
• Manage tax exempt certificates, including obtaining certificates, entering them in the system, and ensuring renewal before expiration.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate files and documentation; participate in audits if necessary.
• Create and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the year, collaborating with AR Team Lead and Corporate Controller.
• Recommend methods for operational efficiency to drive business results.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience working in accounting or accounts receivable; related college coursework and/or degree desirable.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods during a daily routine.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Pay

$25 per hour.
