AR Analyst

About the role

Our Greenville, SC office has the opportunity for a full-time remote Accounts Receivable Analyst to join the Firm’s Accounting department. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will need an advanced understanding of accounting principles and a general knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley. They will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Receivable Manager with daily AR functions while completing their daily tasks; therefore, flexibility and organizational skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR related requests for 10+ assigned locations
• Reconcile client credits
• Ad hoc reporting
• Process refunds via Chrome River
• Assist AR Manager with special projects
• Assist with cash receipt postings, as needed
• Assist with training for new employees
• Work with General Accounting to reconcile various GLs
• Manage payment-related requests for the Immigration SelfPay Platform (if assigned)

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting clerk experience with 2 plus years of higher education OR 5+ years of accounting clerk experience without higher education
• Strong computer proficiency in the use of MS Office, document management, accounting, imaging, and database software
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Understanding correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
• Time management skills and ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to train new employees & introduce new processes to various audiences
• Regular & predictable attendance

Pay

The pay range for this remote position varies by location. Actual compensation is contingent on relevant experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses.
