AR/Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Accounting Specialist for an immediate short-term temporary assignment with an established manufacturing organization in Tukwila, WA (100% onsite). The position offers up to 3 months duration, start ASAP, and will provide additional accounting support while members of the finance team are on leave. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accounts receivable and general accounting who enjoys working with Excel and can quickly step into a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing and payment application
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with customer account inquiries
• Support credit holds, credit card processing, and basic credit reviews
• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Work with and reconcile financial data using Excel
• Support special accounting projects as needed
• Collaborate with accounting and operational teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Previous reconciliation and journal entry experience
• Exposure to fixed/capital assets preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay

$22–$28/hour DOE

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
