About the role
As an Aquatics Masters Swim Team Coach, you will work in a fast-paced environment and help adult members improve their swimming in state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. A typical day may include writing and leading Masters Group Workouts and registering new Masters participants for the group. You will also help maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Run the daily operations of the masters swim team
- Provide adult swimmers the opportunity to master technique
- Establish training programs to assist adult swimmers in achieving their goals
- Attend and support swimmers at meets
- Understand Life Time products and programs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of coaching experience
- Member of US Masters
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED certified (completed within 60 days)
- First Aid certified (completed within 60 days)
- Must complete all job-specific requirements with Life Time Education
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to raise more than 20 lbs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Masters Coach Certification Level 1 & 2
