Aquatics Masters Swim Coach

About the role

As an Aquatics Masters Swim Team Coach, you will work in a fast-paced environment and help our adult members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out.

Responsibilities

• Runs the daily operations of the masters swim team
• Provides adult swimmers the opportunity to master technique
• Establishes training programs to assist adult swimmers to achieve their goals
• Attends and supports swimmers at meets
• Understands Life Time products and programs
• Maintains the cleanliness and order of Aquatics Facilities
• Writes and leads Masters Group Workouts
• Registers new Masters participants for the group

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of coaching experience
• Member of US Masters
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED certified (completed within 60 days)
• First Aid certified (completed within 60 days)
• Must complete all job-specific requirements with Life Time Education
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Masters Coach Certification Level 1 & 2
