Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor (part-time) at Advocate Good Shepherd

About The Role

HealthFitness is looking for an Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor to join the team at the Advocate Good Shepherd Club, managed by HealthFitness in Barrington, IL. This is a position teaching approximately 3 classes per week, depending on scheduling with Saturdays from 10:00AM - 10:45AM in high demand.

We offer subbing opportunities for additional income and a complimentary fitness center membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, effective, and safe aquatic group exercise to members.

Minimum Requirements

• Current AEA or FiTour Aquatics group exercise instructor certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Flu vaccination required during the Fall season.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $25/class - $28/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
