Aquatics Instructor (part-time)

Make a splash and earn extra income doing what you love! HealthFitness is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join our Aquatics Team in Downers Grove, IL. In this Sunday role (1:45–6:00 p.m.), you’ll deliver fun, safe, and confidence-building swim instruction for children through private and small-group lessons—designing personalized programs that help every young swimmer thrive. This position is open for part-time (working approximately 5 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
• Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $16/hr - $20/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
