About the role
The Aquatic Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and cleaning aquatic environments, ensuring they are safe and healthy for both humans and animals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain water quality through regular testing and chemical treatments
- Clean and maintain pools, spas, and other aquatic facilities
- Perform routine maintenance on filtration systems and pumps
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintained
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff regarding facility conditions and maintenance needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in aquatic maintenance or similar field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform manual labor
- Knowledge of aquatic biology and chemistry
Skills
- Proficient in using pool chemicals and equipment
- Excellent communication skills
