About the role

The Aquatic Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and cleaning aquatic environments, ensuring they are safe and healthy for both humans and animals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain water quality through regular testing and chemical treatments
  • Clean and maintain pools, spas, and other aquatic facilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on filtration systems and pumps
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintained
  • Communicate effectively with clients and staff regarding facility conditions and maintenance needs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in aquatic maintenance or similar field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor
  • Knowledge of aquatic biology and chemistry

Skills

  • Proficient in using pool chemicals and equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
