About the role
The Aquatic Coordinator supports lesson quality, team development, and customer experience to ensure families receive world-class swim lessons in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Lesson Quality – Monitor lessons during peak hours, conduct assessments, and coach instructors to maintain Aqua-Tots teaching standards.
- Develop the Team – Lead Instructor Water Safety Evaluations (IWSE), assist with trainings and in-services, and support ongoing instructor development.
- Create Excellent Family Experiences – Build relationships with families, engage in the lobby, and assist in resolving customer concerns, including NPS feedback.
- Maintain Strong Operations – Ensure adherence to First Day processes, grad progression, and overall lesson consistency.
- Support Scheduling & Coverage – Assist with co-teaching schedules, waterside coverage, and step in to support subbing needs.
- Provide Direct Service – Teach a minimum of 2 consistent shifts per week and work at least 2 deck supervisor shifts weekly.
- Partner for Success – Communicate daily updates with the General Manager, support Propel initiatives, and participate in Level 10 (L10) meetings.
Requirements
- Swim instruction experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Someone who thrives on coaching others, building relationships, and maintaining high standards
- Ability to work both in the water and in a leadership/on-deck role
- Flexible availability to meet the needs of the school
- High School diploma or GED required
- CPR certified (or willing to obtain- we’ll provide training)
- CPO certification (or willingness to obtain in the future)

Pay
$16.00–$18.00/hour
Schedule
Flexible availability required, including afternoons/evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the school and season.
