About Custom Aquariums
Established in 2014 by our parent company, Adams Specialty Products, LLC. (ASP), Custom Aquariums has become one of the leading manufacturers of glass aquariums across the USA. Where It All Began Before the creation of Custom Aquariums, ASP founded Serenity USA, which provided on-site cleaning services for businesses with an aquarium or aviary. Through this service company, we learned the most significant pain points for aquarium owners: Most aquariums were challenging to maintain, components were prioritized for cost savings over quality, and they were not built for long-term reliability. Instead of continuing to struggle with these less-than-optimal fish tanks, we used our experience to develop a highly reliable glass aquarium to offer our clients. And the rest is history. Clients loved the new fish tanks, and that success led us to create Custom Aquariums, bringing these commercial-quality displays to the everyday aquarist. Where We Are Today Today, we are widely renowned for our aquariums' quality and craftsmanship. Our countless hours of engineering have resulted in patents like a proprietary fish tank frame, the H2Overflow®, Stealthbox®, Seamless Sump®, and the Siphon Stopper®. Aside from our innovations, aquarium hobbyists love designing their own unit. We build each aquarium, one by one, tailored to the customer's specifications (unless you want a pre-configured Aquarium Package). Over the years, our company has grown to over 50 employees, established over 30 patents, carved out 50,000sf of manufacturing area, added new state-of-the-art equipment, and built a team of industry experts. Through our company's growth, we've remained committed to our roots, choosing product quality over price and close attention to detail over a speedy assembly line.
