Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative
About the role
We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved in the position.

- Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
- Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
- Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment
- Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
- Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
- Able to travel in your service area radius
- Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
- Flexibility is a must
- Driver's License required
Qualifications
- Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
- High School education is preferred
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 5-10 per week or 20-30 hours a month.
Pay
From $25.00 per hour. Hourly wage is not paid during driving; mileage reimbursement is paid while driving.
