Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative
About the role
We are seeking an entry-level aquarium and aviary servicer for our rapidly growing company. This position involves servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly, and involves heavy lifting, bending, and other physical demands.
Responsibilities
- Well organized and possess excellent time management skills
- Professional appearance with excellent communication skills
- Effectively communicate company products and services
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Inner drive and desire to exceed goals
- Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs
- Able to make an efficient work schedule
- Manage service cycle for customer base
Requirements
- Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
- Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
- Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment
- Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
- Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
- Able to travel in your service area radius
- Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
- Flexibility is a must!
- High School education is preferred
- Driver’s License required
