Pay

From $25.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time remote position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8 am to 7 pm, but is flexible. Hours vary month to month, averaging 15–25 hours per week. Travel within a 150‑mile radius of Burlington, WI is required; mileage reimbursement is provided while driving (hourly wage not paid during driving).

Responsibilities

• Service aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted‑living facilities.
• Maintain organization and excellent time‑management skills.
• Present a professional appearance and communicate effectively with customers.
• Effectively communicate company products and services.
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Demonstrate inner drive and desire to exceed goals.
• Respond to calls, emails, and faxes to address customer needs.
• Create efficient work schedules.
• Manage the service cycle for the customer base.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to continually adjust priorities to match business needs.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and good attendance.
• Ability to communicate and contribute in a team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions; read and write in English.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities.
• Ability to travel within the service‑area radius.
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering required (e.g., storing 50‑lb bags of bedding, 27‑gal totes).
• Flexibility is a must.
• COVID‑19 vaccination or masking/goggles may be required due to work in long‑term care homes.
