Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

About the role

We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs

• Manage service cycle for customer base

Requirements

• Driver's License required
• Able to travel in your service area radius (150 miles of Rockford, IL; current furthest account is around 50 miles from Rockford)
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
• Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job
• Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
• Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
• Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment
• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
• Flexibility is a must!
• Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required

Qualifications

• Experience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferred
• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
• High School education is preferred

Pay

From $25.00 per hour. Expected hours: 4 hours per week or 15-20 hours a month. Will vary some from week to week.

Schedule

Day shift. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month.
