Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. Our customers look to us to create a serene and engaging environment for their residents and customers to enjoy. This role primarily involves servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Service aquariums and aviaries in assigned facilities
• Organize and manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks
• Maintain a professional appearance and excellent communication with clients
• Communicate company products and services effectively
• Prioritize tasks and respond to customer needs via calls, emails, or faxes
• Create efficient work schedules and manage the service cycle for your customer base
• Lift and maneuver heavy items, including 50-pound bags of bedding and seed, and 2-3 27-gallon totes of supplies
• Travel within a 200-mile radius of Douglas, WY (mileage reimbursed; hourly wage not paid during driving)
• Cities served include: Scottsbluff, NE; Mitchell, NE; Cheyenne, WY; Douglas, WY; Wheatland, WY; Crawford, NE
• Adhere to masking and goggle requirements when working in long-term care homes

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly
• Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and good attendance
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, and read/write in English
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Flexibility with schedule and job responsibilities
• Ability to travel within the service area radius
• Capability to perform heavy lifting and maneuvering
• High school education preferred
• Valid driver’s license required

• Typically during business hours (8 AM to 7 PM), with flexibility
• Hours vary monthly, averaging 8–16 hours per month (could be more with increased travel)
