About the role

The Group Fitness Instructor position supports the YMCA of Collier County, Inc., a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This role delivers exceptional service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responsibilities include responding to member and guest needs, promoting memberships and programs, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the welcome center and fitness floor, and instructing group fitness classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels.
• Respond to member and guest needs, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Promote YMCA memberships and programs to attract new participants.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the welcome center and fitness floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience teaching group fitness classes preferred but not required.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

$15 - $18 per hour based on experience.
