About the role

The Group Fitness Instructor position supports the YMCA of Collier County, Inc., a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This role delivers exceptional service to members, guests, and program participants. Responsibilities include responding to member and guest needs, promoting memberships and programs, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the welcome center and fitness floor, and instructing group fitness classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment suitable for all skill and fitness levels.
• Respond to member and guest inquiries and concerns, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
• Promote YMCA programs and services to enhance membership growth and retention.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the welcome center and fitness floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience teaching group fitness classes preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Pass a physical examination.

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience.
