APRN / PA Inpatient Neurosurgery - First Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Neurosurgery Clinic, focusing on patients with complex cranial, spine, and neurosurgical conditions. This outpatient role involves evaluating and managing both new and established patients, including pre- and post-operative follow-up, in collaboration with neurosurgeons and a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, developing treatment plans, performing diagnostic procedures, ordering tests, providing patient education, and ensuring comprehensive documentation. The role also involves teaching, acting as a clinical resource, supporting research, and promoting patient safety. Candidates must have an advanced practice license, NCCPA certification, and relevant experience, with additional qualifications such as pediatric certification, ACLS/PALS, and prescriptive authority. Physical demands include medium work, and safety protocols must be followed diligently. The position offers full-time hours, with day or night shifts available, along with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
