APRN - Interventional Pain Management
About the role
The Orthopedic Clinic, a leader in the orthopedic community of East Central Florida since 1961, is seeking a detail-oriented Mid-Level Provider with previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient office setting, urgent care, and surgery. You will work directly with patients, providing medical treatment, services, and recommendations in our outpatient clinic, assisting in surgery, and supporting our orthopedic walk-in services. This role requires exceptional compassion, problem-solving skills, organizational ability, and strong attention to detail.
Our practice specializes in general orthopedics, spine care, sports reconstruction, adult reconstruction, and non-surgical treatments. We have eleven Orthopedic Surgeons, one Interventional Pain Management Physician, Mid-Level Providers, and a Physical Therapy team serving patients at four locations in Volusia and Flagler counties.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patient’s condition in our EHR system.
- Order and/or conduct diagnostic and laboratory tests and medical imaging.
- Order or prescribe pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic therapies.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records regarding patient’s treatment, history, and plan of care.
- Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with staff regarding treatment and continuing care.
- Organize and prioritize work during heavy workload situations to expedite patient care.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA compliance.
- Evaluate patient’s chief complaint courteously and efficiently with compassionate care.
- Lead staff through workflow processes to ensure a team-oriented approach.
Requirements
- Florida licensed as APRN.
- Two to five years of professional orthopedic clinical and/or surgical experience.
- Computer literate (Windows environment, EHR, AthenaNet helpful).
- Valid State of Florida Driver’s License, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
