Apprenticeships: PaTTAN Programs

Purpose Of Position

The Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) Apprenticeship Program seeks to support local colleges and universities in recruiting and retaining passionate and underrepresented pre-service candidates into the field of special education. The goal is to provide these candidates with exposure to the various operations of the PaTTAN system and its support of special education services across the Commonwealth. Through training and technical assistance, candidates will gain practical skills and insights that can be applied in their future careers.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent
• Anticipated or current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program within, or related to, the field of education
• A recent graduate from an undergraduate or graduate degree program within, or related to, the field of education who has not yet begun full-time employment
