About the role
Responsible for maintaining and operating wastewater treatment facilities. Works under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate wastewater treatment facilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Respond to emergencies as needed
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- Tribal member status required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Watershed management experience preferred
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Wastewater treatment systems
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
- First aid and CPR certification
