About the role
Do you like working with your hands? Do you enjoy variety in your work? As a Surface Experts Technician, you'll use your creativity to problem-solve repairs that typically take less than an hour.
Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair service provider. We repair minor damage to surfaces like floors, countertops, bathtubs, cabinets, appliances, furniture, elevator panels — almost everything! Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate. Our objective is to deliver an outstanding customer experience and cultivate lasting relationships by saving our customers time, money, and materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
Responsibilities
- Complete 4 or more creative repairs on-site each day in the field.
- Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff.
- Update progress on repairs by entering information and notes in our CRM/Dispatch tool.
- Communicate with the support team regarding questions.
- Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process.
- Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit.
- Problem-solve repairs with creativity in a variety of settings like apartments, hotels, moving sites, and construction sites.
Requirements
- Experience working with your hands — relevant experience could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby.
- Must be able to see, distinguish, and replicate colors. Understanding and matching color is a large part of what we do.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Pay
Pay range of $18 to $25 per hour, including base pay and performance-based bonuses.
