Responsibilities

• Rotate through departments related to the trade to complete 8,000 on-the-job training hours and successfully finish related classroom instruction specific to the trade.
• Work closely with a Mechanic to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment.
• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner under the supervision of a journeyperson.
• Attend classes as required for apprenticeship and troubleshoot equipment.
• Overtime, weekend, and holiday work hours are required.

Requirements

• Highly motivated individual willing to learn and apply acquired skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude and knowledge.
• Hands-on learner.
• Enthusiasm for a career in skilled trades.
