The Opportunity

Apprentice Facilities Specialist

See What Being a Apprentice Field Equipment Technician Is All About

  • Perform four Preventative Maintenance Site Audits in each assigned location annually
  • Complete reactionary service calls in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Continue to learn additional trades contributing to higher in-house repairs
  • Partner with local and national vendors to ensure work is completed to Chipotle's standards
  • Collaborate with sub-regional leadership team to have a unified purpose and vision inside our locations
  • Manage direct M&R budget of assigned locations
  • Work directly with Apprentice Facilities Manager or Facilities Manager to identify capital improvement needs. Get quotes for such items and after installation validate quality and workmanship
  • SOURCE, ORGANIZE AND TRACK PARTS AND INVENTORY FOR NECESSARY REPAIRS
  • Manage Service Channel requests to ensure all items are entered and closed out correctly, give SC training to restaurants when needed
  • PARTNER WITH FACILITIES SUPPORT TEAM TO ENSURE REQUESTS ARE ASSIGNED AND COMPLETED IN AN EFFICIENT MANNER
  • MEET ALL ADMINISTRATIVE DEADLINES WHEN IT COMES TO MILEAGE, P-cards, INVENTORIES, AND TRU-UPS.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Trade School Certificate preferred
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report required
  • EPA Certification preferred
  • 0-1 years’ experience in related field
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in the restaurant industry
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to use ladders on a frequent basis
  • Overnight travel may be required
  • Must be able to work independently for much of the day
  • Must be able to plan and organize schedules and stick to the plan
  • Must be able to effectively communicate through email and/or phone conversations

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $25.96–$32.46. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
