APPRENTICE EPIC BEAKER ANALYST
About the role
The Apprentice Analyst will join a team responsible for supporting clinical solutions and practice management applications deployed across the OCHIN collaborative as well as support other systems used by the EPIC Operations Team. This role will focus on configuration, technical troubleshooting, and solutions-discovery for OCHIN’s members.
Responsibilities
- First line of contact with members of the OCHIN collaborative to help research and coordinate resolution of issues by troubleshooting and resolving issues within application modules in response to user requests.
- Resolve problems with application vendor or other technical support as indicated.
- Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and OCHIN Customer Service Expectations through the completion of Help Desk tickets, calls and live chats.
- Triage incoming calls and communications to determine the priority level and appropriate team to address issue.
- May Provide support to the Electronic Health Record Support Analyst (EHRSA) of other organizations.
- Perform routine build and configuration in Epic and related products as directed by the Sr. Revenue Cycle Analyst mentor.
- Discuss and provide workflow solutions and ensure understanding of the system through hands on training.
- Document build specifications, team processes and complex clinic workflows as directed by the Sr. Revenue Cycle Analyst mentor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of an OCHIN workforce training program or similar experience (e.g., prior role within OCHIN, member site, or similar organization) preferred.
- Must obtain Epic Care Ambulatory Proficiency and Epic Beaker Proficiency within the first 90 days.
- Experience in an operational lab setting (Laboratory Technologist/Technician) is required.
- Epic proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated specialized expertise in a defined application area is strongly preferred.
- Interest in data analysis, problem solving and continuous learning.
- Basic understanding of healthcare operations and EHR systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Qualifications
- Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment.

Schedule
This position requires a virtual home-office environment, working remotely and will require that employees be on camera for all virtual meetings.

Work Location and Travel Requirements
OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.
Pay
$49,939 or $59,927 (Non Negotiable)
