About the role

You will work alongside experienced Journeymen and Foremen to master commercial power, lighting, and control systems. This role allows you to build a long-term technical career while gaining hands-on field experience with a company that invests in your growth. Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Journeymen with installing commercial conduit, wiring, and electrical distribution equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite by following all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
  • Operate basic power tools, hand tools, and material handling equipment with precision and care.
  • Prepare wire pulls, junction boxes, and panel terminations under direct field supervision.
  • Inspect incoming project materials and tools to ensure the jobsite remains fully stocked and efficient.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and commitment to representing company values.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial environments.
  • Active Texas Apprentice Electrician License and a valid driver’s license.
  • Solid understanding of basic electrical theory, National Electrical Code (NEC), and jobsite safety.
  • Ability to read basic schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in active field environments.

Preferred qualifications

  • Enrolled in or graduate of a formal electrical trade school or apprenticeship program.
  • Prior experience working on commercial ground-up construction or controls projects.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification.
