Apprentice Electrician

We seek an Apprentice Electrician to perform electrical and mechanical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at our production facility. The role is based solely on-site, with an emphasis on safety, skill development, and supporting agricultural innovation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment such as conveyors, HVAC, and process control systems like PLCs and HMIs.
• Learning to read blueprints.
• Diagnosing malfunctions.
• Ensuring safety compliance.
• Working on-site with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Working in various environmental conditions.
• Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with testing tools and safety procedures
• Valid US driver’s license
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work physically in diverse conditions
• Preferred: Two-year technical degree or military experience in related fields
• Preferred: Experience with VFDs, PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
