To learn more about Pearce visit http://www.pearce-services.com. Your Impact: Pearce Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice to join our growing electrical team. This role provides hands-on experience across a wide range of projects including commercial construction, infrastructure upgrades, EV charging installations, and mission-critical power systems such as UPS systems, generators, and data centers. The Electrical Apprentice will work under the direction and supervision of licensed Journeyman electricians and experienced electrical professionals while developing the technical knowledge, installation skills, and safety practices necessary to progress within the electrical trade. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and committed to developing a long-term career as a skilled electrician. Key Responsibilities Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environmentsInstall conduit, raceways, supports, wiring, devices, and electrical equipment under appropriate supervisionAssist with installation of panels, switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and other electrical distribution equipmentLearn to read and interpret one-line diagrams, blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specificationsSupport installation and commissioning activities for UPS systems, generators, transfer switches, and EV charging stationsAssist with electrical testing, startup, troubleshooting, and system verification under the direction of qualified personnelProperly use hand tools, power tools, meters, and electrical installation equipment appropriate to level of training and qualificationFollow NEC requirements, electrical safety practices, OSHA requirements, and Pearce safety proceduresMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasAssist with material handling, equipment setup, jobsite preparation, and project closeout activitiesWork effectively with Journeymen, supervisors, project managers, customers, and other tradesParticipate in company training and apprenticeship development opportunitiesDemonstrate continued progression in electrical knowledge, skills, productivity, and responsibility Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious electrical, construction, mechanical, or skilled-trade experience preferredCurrently enrolled in, or willingness to participate in, an approved electrical apprenticeship or training programBasic understanding of electrical systems and construction practices preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to follow instructions and work safely under the direction of Journeyman electricians and supervisorsAbility to use basic hand and power toolsAbility to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas as requiredAbility to lift and carry materials and equipment associated with commercial electrical constructionDependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a teamValid driver’s license, ability to travel regionally, and at times nationally Preferred Experience Commercial or industrial electrical constructionConduit installation and bendingWire and cable installationElectrical distribution equipmentUPS systems and critical power equipmentGenerator systems and transfer switchesEV charging infrastructureData center or mission-critical environments Career Development Pearce Services is committed to developing the next generation of skilled electrical professionals.
