Position Overview Dvorak, LLC is looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our growing field team. If you have mechanical aptitude, a genuine interest in the trade, and want to learn from experienced electricians while building a long-term career, we want to hear from you! The Apprentice Electrician supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician. This role provides hands-on learning and development opportunities to gain technical knowledge and practical experience while contributing to project success. What You'll Do Work under the supervision of a Master or Journeyman Electrician to complete assigned tasksAssist with identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and performing electrical work on job sitesInterpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsMeasure, cut, bend, and install wire and conduit; thread conduit ends and connect couplingsInspect electrical units for loose connections or insulation issues and make repairsDrill holes, pull/push wiring, strip insulation, and assist with soldering connectionsInstall copper-clad ground rods and ensure grounding meets safety standardsMaintain a clean, organized work area and assist with material staging and cleanupUpdate work logs and assist with administrative project duties as directedCollaborate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project deadlinesAdhere to all safety policies, OSHA/state regulations, and participate in toolbox talks and safety training What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED (preferred)Reliable transportationMechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to learnReliable, organized, and able to follow instructions accuratelyAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 75 lbs)Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus License/Certification Enrollment in a state-approved apprenticeship program (Required)Certification Active Apprentice Electrician License (Required)OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 CertificationValid driver's license with a clean driving record Why You'll Love Working Here Hands-on training and a clear path toward licensureStrong safety culture and clear expectationsOpportunities for growth within a premier heavy electrical contractorSupportive, family-oriented team environmentCompetitive pay and benefits Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $18.00 - $28.50 per hour (based upon completed apprenticeship hours) Work Location: In person, field-based; may involve exposure to weather, heights, confined spaces, and loud noise.
