Responsibilities

  • Assists with installation, repairs, maintenance and troubleshoots of electrical systems.
  • Assists with blueprints, runs conduit, wires devices, troubleshoots and performs quality control testing.
  • Assists with reading mechanical and electrical drawings and code specifications for determining wiring layouts.
  • Assists with troubleshooting, testing and repairing emergency generators and various electrical systems and power distribution systems to ensure they are working properly.
  • Assists with running tests, isolating problems, replacing damaged section of wiring, and laying out circuits.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or completion from trade program or technical school, required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction, refrigeration, HVAC, or other related industry/trade, preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint that details electrical devices need to be installed.
  • Ability to look for issues and be a capable problem solver.
  • Organized and analytical.
  • Ability to act on instructions and work well with others.
  • Skill in both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
  • Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Regularly stands, sits, walks, talks, hears, drives, uses hands and fingers.
  • Occasionally reaches, stoops, and kneels.
  • Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
  • Uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
