About the role
The Diesel Apprentice role involves working in a fast-paced environment to maintain and repair diesel equipment, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with roadside services
- Learning preventative maintenance
- Performing diagnostics and repairs on electrical, air conditioning, wheel end, air system, brakes, charging systems, and auxiliary components
Requirements and Skills
- Mechanically inclined individuals with no professional experience are welcomed
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Obtain a DOT medical card (paid by employer)
Work Functions
- Provide excellent customer service
- Prioritize safety
- Work rotating shifts including day and night
