Responsible for maintaining and repairing various diesel engines and related equipment in industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair diesel engines and related equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in diesel mechanics
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Knowledge of diesel engine systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
