About the Role
US Forensic, LLC, an ATS Family of Companies, assists commercial and industrial clients by performing forensic evaluations, reporting, and expert witness testimony. The firm's capabilities include accident reconstruction; structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; fire origin and cause; and environmental services. U.S. Forensic tailors its consulting engineering services to meet each client's unique needs, and its experienced forensic engineers and investigators support a wide range of industries. As part of the ATS family, the company also offers expanded capabilities in testing, inspection, and calibration when a broader scope of services is required.
Responsibilities
- Enter and verify new assignments and proactively manage projects, including cycle times
- Maintain detailed documentation and update file statuses regularly
- Communicate project status with clients and provide proactive updates
- Assign, manage, and monitor field appraisal teams
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure a high-caliber end product
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email, assess client needs, and deliver appropriate solutions
- Maintain consistent communication with field teams
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails in a timely, professional manner
- Review appraisal reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Process invoices in accordance with contractual requirements and maintain proper documentation
- Provide feedback on operational issues and inefficiencies to support process improvements
- Assist with additional duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Insurance claims experience preferred
- Familiarity with Xactimate and Xactanalysis
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Highest attention to detail with a commitment to accurate, thorough file documentation
- Ability to collaborate and share job management responsibilities within a team environment
- Growth mindset with a willingness to suggest improvements and foster open communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, web browsers, and PDF tools, with the ability to quickly learn internal systems
