Appointment Clerk PT

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for an Appointment Clerk to work in our Cordele, GA Service Center. Company Culture R+L Carriers - Women in Trucking. The position is part‑time, Monday‑Friday, 1st shift, starting at $17.66 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls on a multi‑line system
• Redirecting calls to appropriate contacts
• Data entry
• Processing driver paperwork
• Assisting dispatchers
• Other duties as requested by management

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well‑organized
• Computer literate
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products

Qualifications

Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast‑paced environment; freight logistics experience.
