About the Opportunity:The Applied Instructional Designer is responsible for translating engineering systems and applications into structured, scalable learning experiences for the MISUMI University Program. This role combines engineering expertise with instructional design to develop curriculum and digital content that align with academic and industry standards. The position plays a key role in shaping how students learn modern engineering workflows using the organization''s tools and products. 3. Responsibilities:• Design and develop curriculum, lab modules, and project-based learning experiences based on real engineering systems• Convert demo platforms and training kits into structured educational pathways• Create instructor guides, student materials, assessments, and digital learning assets• Align curriculum with academic standards, accreditation requirements, and university program goals• Collaborate with Applied Content Engineers to ensure technical accuracy• Work with University Applications Engineers to pilot and refine content in classroom settings• Develop scalable delivery formats including in-person, hybrid, and self-paced online learning• Measure learning effectiveness and improve course content based on feedback• Maintain and contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS) 4. Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, Instructional Design, or related field• 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or technical training, preferably in STEM or engineering• Strong understanding of STEM education principles and project-based learning methodologies• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences• Familiarity with learning management systems and digital content development tools• Excellent collaboration and communication skills 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 USD annually based on experience.
