About the role
Success On The Spectrum is an ABA therapy center in Castle Rock, CO dedicated to providing quality therapy services to the autism community. This position is for BCBA Interns enrolled in a graduate program aiming to become BCBA.
Responsibilities
- Provide early intervention therapy in a center-based setting.
- Create individualized, research-based client programs under the direction of the BCBA.
- Analyze client progress and update programs as needed.
- Attend weekly parent training meetings and progress updates with guidance from the BCBA.
- Supervise a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Participate in bi-weekly ABA Staff Meetings and quarterly in-service trainings.
- Assist with insurance correspondence and patient assessments.
- Implement and record individualized treatment plans under the supervision of the BCBA.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians, including evaluations, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct direct therapy, model behavior, and support technicians to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
- Maintain and organize patient materials necessary for therapy treatment.
- Monitor parent training goals and ensure parent involvement and skill generalization.
- Probe targets and develop future programs for clients.
- Provide feedback and modeling to maintain a positive work environment.
- Write detailed SOAP notes.
- Participate in performance reviews and quarterly in-service trainings.
- Take advantage of opportunities for BCBA positions and tuition reimbursement once certified.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Master's program leading towards certification in behavior analysis.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
- No criminal background.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to lift at least 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active.
