Applications Service Delivery Analytics Specialist
About the role
As an Applications Service Delivery Analytics Specialist, you will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide visibility into Application Managed Services (AMS) operational performance, contractual service measures, and governance across managed service agreements.
You will collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world, tapping into your curiosity and working with some of the most creative and innovative people globally to make an impact through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Implement data models, reporting processes, and automation to support service capacity planning, utilization, work execution (Jira), service level reporting, and operational performance metrics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Analyze service delivery data to determine meaningful trends, risks, and opportunities, translating complex operational information into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership, Service Delivery Owners, and operational stakeholders.
- Support governance and continuous improvement by maintaining accurate service performance reporting, validating contractual metrics, preparing executive reporting, and partnering with Service Delivery leadership to drive improvements across multiple managed service agreements.
- Support major service transitions, agreement modifications, expanded cross-functional reporting opportunities, and other strategic operational events as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Five (5) years of experience developing analytics, reporting solutions, or operational performance metrics in an IT service management, program management office, application support, managed services, or similar environment in a private, public, government, or military setting.
- Experience designing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and reporting using business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Experience analyzing complex operational data and translating findings into actionable insights for technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with data from multiple enterprise systems to support operational governance, performance management, or service delivery.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of experience in IT service delivery, managed services, IT operations analytics, program management office, strategy office, or enterprise application support in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Experience supporting Application Managed Services (AMS), ITIL-based service management, or outsourced service provider governance.
- Experience with Jira, ITSM, Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
Work location
This position has the possibility for remote work for candidates located more than 50 miles from 3M Global Headquarters in St. Paul, MN. Employees located within a commutable distance must work on-site at least 4 days per week.
Travel
May include up to 5% domestic/international travel.
Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $145,676 - $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
