Responsibilities
- Lead investigations and resolution of complex customer technical issues, independently driving to closure
- Provide authoritative technical guidance on RF/microwave applications, measurements, and system-level integration
- Design, execute, and interpret advanced RF test setups using equipment such as PNA-X, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, probe stations, and power measurement systems
- Architect and design application-specific circuits, evaluation boards, and reference designs to support customer needs
- Develop high-quality technical collateral including application notes, data packages, and presentations
- Analyze characterization and production data to inform datasheets, application guidance, and customer recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product engineering, reliability, and marketing teams to ensure successful product adoption
- Represent the Application Engineering team in technical discussions, design reviews, and customer engagements
Qualifications
- Education: BSEE or BSECE required; MS preferred
- Experience: Typically 5+ years of experience in RF/microwave, semiconductor, or related engineering field
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of RF & microwave theory and practical implementation, experience with characterization, modeling, and application of MMIC products, familiarity with PCB design for high-frequency applications
- Professional Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey complex concepts clearly, proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence technical decisions, self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities

- Salary Range: The Salary Range for this position is $97,000 – $168,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
