Applications Analyst II
About the role
The Application Analyst II position at Children's National Health System requires prior experience with Financials including budgeting, payroll, and preferably grants. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and ensure smooth operations.
- Analyzes system requirements, configures applications, and supports advanced workflows for patient care and revenue cycle processes.
- Responds to requests for support by users.
- Tests and coordinates testing of new releases of Applications.
- Logs defects against applications and follows up with IT colleagues and vendors.
- Maintains applications responsibilities based on work group of user.
- Trains informatics on features of applications, sometimes participating in end-user training.
- Maintains applications responsibilities based on work group of user.
- Acts as reporting resource.
- Analyzes user requirements and designs solutions using applications.
- Configures and customizes applications to meet specific workflow needs.
- Collaborates with end-users, stakeholders, and vendors to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigates and troubleshoots complex application issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Affords assistance in the planning and execution of system upgrades and enhancements.
- Participates in data analysis and reporting for performance optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Work Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in application support and Enterprise solutions.

Benefits
The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children’s National believes an individual’s base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children’s National compensation philosophy.
