About the role
The Applications Analyst supports MGB Digital Research Applications Data Management and Integrity Tools, including LabArchives, StudyTrax, Veeva SiteVault, GitLab, and additional research-focused applications.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing software applications.
- Affords assistance in the training and support of end users.
- Assists in the documentation of business requirements and the translation of those requirements into functional specifications for the software application.
- Affords assistance in the development and execution of testing plans and other software quality assurance tasks.
- Trains end users on the operation of software applications.
- Affords assistance in the development of end-user documentation.
- Provides ongoing support for software applications by identifying and resolving issues, escalating them as needed for timely resolution.
- Provides high-quality, customer-focused services.
- Runs reports and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: Related IT experience, ideally in healthcare IT environment, with 0-1 year required.
Additional Job Details
- Working Conditions: Hybrid with onsite work required in office, candidate must be flexible for weekly or monthly business needs. M-F Eastern business hours required. On remote workdays, employees must use a stable, secure, and compliant workstation in a quiet environment. Teams video is required and must be accessed using MGB-provided equipment.
- Pay Range: $62,836.80 - $89,762.40/Annual. Grade 5.
