Applications Analyst- Epic Charging/ Billing

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains applications in support of enterprise strategies and objectives.
• Contributes to healthcare enterprise and subject area implementations and may serve as project leader in some cases.
• Affords assistance in defining and modifying applications.
• Utilizes software maintenance and report writing tools as required.
• Prepares status reports on tasks assigned.
• Understands data structure modeling and applies that knowledge to generate solutions for our clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, with a Certificate Program or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Work Experience: At least 3 years, including at least 1 year of experience supporting healthcare applications or technologies.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Min Field of Expertise: Computer Science/Information Systems with healthcare data/systems analysis; Ability to work well in a team environment as a member and/or leader; Acceptance of responsibility; Thorough knowledge of relevant specialty areas; Analytical and logical approach to solving problems; Clarity and discipline in communication skills - both written and verbal; Capable of imaginative and abstract reasoning; Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting skills; Understanding of general project management and software development/support principles; Self-reliant and capable of independent work; Knowledge of system process engineering.
