Responsibilities
- Attend sales calls and meetings to understand customers' needs and provide preliminary equipment recommendations.
- Perform dispensing application trials using company's existing products, ensuring proposed system meets customer’s requirements.
- Write test reports highlighting results, settings, final equipment list, and related notes.
- Communicate with customers, international sales groups, R&D, and marketing regarding technical and product issues.
- Support customers in installation, training, and troubleshooting, whether in-person or virtually.
- Support worldwide sales groups in all technical areas of all EFD products.
- Attend top customer meetings, trade shows, and other pertinent meetings to provide technical knowledge as needed.
- Aid in providing product training to all sales groups with a focus on top products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in resolution of quality or manufacturing issues affecting customers.
- Help coordinate customer problem resolution with engineering, customer service, sales, R&D, Quality Assurance, and other personnel.
- Review technical content of product manuals, technical support information, and sales brochures.
- Assist with development and implementation of product training tools.
- Participate in New Product Development process by providing insight into real-world product usage by customers.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related field or equivalent related work experience.
- Experienced in technical sales-facing and application support role/environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills, professional demeanor, high energy level, and ability to adapt effectively in a dynamic changing environment.
- Experienced supporting EFD product line and TTA platform programming.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Preferred Skills
- Action-oriented self-starter.
Working Conditions
- Office and laboratory environments.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Travel
Estimated 25% travel required.
