Application Specialist

Job Summary

The Technology Group at Moneta is seeking an experienced and innovative Application Specialist to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of finance-related technology solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage technology-based projects including workflow mapping, communicating enhancements and issues to teams, and fostering an open dialogue between front-end users and back office.
• Help users implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by understanding client needs and communicating clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.
• Understand business goals, team responsibilities, and processes to successfully test technology enhancements and integrate technology into efficient workflows.
• Work with business stakeholders and the Technology Department to define scope and objectives to ensure solution projects are in alignment with the strategic goals of the organization.
• Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure all technology solutions adhere to required security protocols and regulatory standards.
• Proactively assess emerging technologies and innovative process improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to all teams along with troubleshooting complex technical issues as they arise.
• Accountable for supporting the success of both individuals on the team and the team as a whole.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years related experience preferred
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles, requirements gathering, and user interface/interaction design in an enterprise environment
• Understanding of modern architectures (cloud, microservices, APIs)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Technical proficiency with a variety of software applications

• This is an exempt, full-time salary position reporting to the VP of Enterprise Applications.
