About the role

Remote contractor position for backend‑focused engineers with a security background. The work involves designing coding tasks and verification logic used to train AI systems; no prior AI experience is required. The role offers flexible, project‑based hours.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic and challenging coding tasks involving feature implementation and bug fixes.
• Build deterministic verifiers that correctly accept valid solutions and reject invalid ones.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development background with a track record of building scalable services and APIs.
• Solid debugging, testing, and code review skills.
• No specific degree required; emphasis on demonstrated backend development skills and practical security experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, Rust, TypeScript, C++, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and core computer science fundamentals.
• Cybersecurity knowledge (AppSec, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, OWASP/CWE) strongly preferred.
• Experience with AI evaluation, data annotation, RLHF, or rubric‑based grading is a plus but not required.
